I had the luxury of a free afternoon Saturday and all the parts and tools I needed to finish off my roof rack project. I cut down the teak slats (and suffered from projectile wood bits to the stomach), oiled them, and fit them with the appropriate hardware. In the evening we drove out to finally collect Fang - or so we thought, only to find that the distributer was bad and he wasn't ready to be brought home.
We did get the call to come collect this morning, and had a fairly large check to write, as well as a 45 minute one-way drive. The heat seems to be stuck on on the passenger side, and I have no brake lights - but I'm more than happy to have it back after nearly 4 months of being off the road.
